The entrance fee includes rides on steam/diesel hauled passenger trains on Great Bush Narrow Gauge railway; mini passenger carrying railway and traction engine trailer rides.

Harveys beer tent, light refreshments, fairground/dance organ museum. Free bus service both days.

Model Railways plus is now in its ninth year. The layouts will be exhibited in two halls providing over 11,000 square feet of space with easy access. Our aim is to provide a friendly, interesting show for all. In addition to the model railway layouts the show includes a 2' passenger-carrying railway, 7.1/4" gauge miniature railway (both featuring live steam) and full size traction engines. There is also a fair organ museum on site We will operate a vintage bus service connecting to Buxted railway and Uckfield bus stations. 


On the Sunday only, we are delighted to welcome our local bus enthusiasts, who will be organising free rides to local town on their classic buses. Light refreshments and real ale will be available. Any profits from the show will go to the Claude Jessett Trust and go towards restoration of the Collection and the Tinkers Park site's facilities..

Tinkers Park is situated on the A272 to the east of Hadlow Down village in East Sussex.

7mm Finescale Layout, Standard Gauge + 3' 9” Gauge, Modelled in the Edwardian Period. Featured in Railway Modeller April 2007 

Shillingstone Light Railway 
7mm Scale narrow gauge lLayout, modelled in the 1960's period. 


Happisburgh Goods 
7mm (O Gauge) Finescale, depicting an ex-Great Eastern goods yard in the British Railways era of the 1950's. 



Broke Brick Mountain
 

G Scale. A Mining/logging town in the American Mid-West - Back again by popular demand. 

Cuttinglye Wharf 
Scale/gauge 0-16.5, Set in the 1930's with all buildings built from scratch. 

Southeastern Tar Distillers 
Scale/gauge 0-16.5 Narrow Gauge. A small tar distillery served by a 2' 3” Narrow Gauge Railway. 



The Glyn Valley Tramway 
OO9. (00, 4mm Narrow Gauge) A compressed model of Glynceiriog Station. 



Sand Point OO9. 
A small narrow gauge terminus somewhere on the south west coast. 

Priory Lane 16mm Scale 
Featuring live steam along with battery powered diesels. 


Spirit of Welshpool OO9 Gauge.


Recreates the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway through the town of Welshpool. 





Lakeside.
 

Depicts a tourist line in Southern California in the late 1950's. 

London SW 999 N Gauge. 
A typical street set somewhere in South-West London. 

Lower Shalford 
7mm/ft Standard Gauge. A fictitious Southern Railway terminus in the Guildford, Surrey, Area. 

Maxwell N Gauge. 
Featuring steam to early diesels during operation, Including specials such as the Royal Train and engineering coaches. 

Frimley North 
A new layout presented by a Tinkers Park volunteer. 

Lookout Mountain N Gauge American. 
A fictitious Rail Road set in the coal district of the Appalachian Mountains. 

Aldingbourne Central 
00 Scale 16.5mm Gauge. Have-A-Go fun for young and old!
