GAUGE 1 (45mm) CLASS Q1 PART COMPLETE KIT/SCRATCH BUILT MODEL (requires motor). [SOLD]
SOUTHERN REGION CLASS Q1 LOCO
GAUGE 1 KIT (45mm)
PART COMPLETE KIT/SCRATCH BUILT MODEL (Requires some finishing detail to body and cab interior and also requires a motor).
Was found in the back of my late fathers workshop he was a keen modeller in OO and O Gauge but I wasn't aware he had tried anything in larger scales. We did once upon a time have a Garden railway but certain this was in O Gauge.
I have tried to search to see if anyone still makes this model in this scale / gauge but cannot locate any manufacturer or history of this class being available. There are models in smaller scales but these are recent and I believe this model started out at least 10-15 years ago.
Kept safely in a polystyrene box can be safely posted out to whoever wins the forthcoming bid on ebay. Despite being unfinished and without a motor to power it I think it would suit someone who has modelling experience in this gauge and wants to finish off what was started.

OO GAUGE SR MAUNSELL COACHES BY D LAWRENCE AND L GODDARD [AVAILABLE]
As previously shown here briefly we've a boxed set of 6 SR Maunsell coaches made by David Lawrence and Larry Goddard. Remain boxed for safety and to preserve thier quality, I will however aim to get them out and show the whole set at the next OO Gauge Test Track open day. More photo's and video clips if possible will follow then.
There is a 7th vehicle which appears to be a baggage car but origin is unlikely to match the others I think it was just kept together as a complete running set of rolling stock.
Been in my late fathers collection for many years, probably about 20 given he moved onto larger scale modelling for the past couple of decades.
In wonderful condition for their age, signed by both David and Larry on the underside.
Sorry have tried to get a decent close up of this signature to show you but my camera skills are poor and it just comes out blurred. Will keep trying though probably needs more light and a steady hand.
